Molly Rechkemmer serves as Associate Director of Student Services in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Iowa, where she supports collegiate advising operations, student retention initiatives, and the implementation of academic policies for the university’s largest college. With more than 20 years of experience in higher education, she is known for her student‑centered approach, deep expertise in academic advising, and ability to translate complex policies into clear, actionable guidance. In addition to her administrative leadership, she has taught a career development course in the College of Education for two decades, guiding students through major and career exploration and job and internship search strategies. She is committed to fostering equitable advising environments and strengthening systems that help students navigate challenges, persist toward graduation, and find meaningful employment post-graduation.
