About me
Myranda Hadley is an Academic Coach at Kirkwood Community College, who prides herself on offering proactive outreach and support through the Learning Commons. Since 2021, she has worked to build the coaching program at Kirkwood and strengthen its benefits for students. In her role, she provides classroom presentations and works with students individually to identify resources, problem solve, and build on their academic skillset to empower them in reaching their educational goals. Myranda is passionate about higher education and lifelong learning. Being a first-generation student, she sees first-hand how pursuing an education can open doors. Myranda completed her undergraduate degree from University of Iowa in 2013 and earned her Master of Education in 2024 from Iowa State University with a focus on Higher Education and Community College Leadership. Most recently, she gained her Coach Practitioner certification in October 2025 from UCF’s Higher Education Coaching Academy.
